Venice Elegance

Appreciating the magic of Venice as I hear the sound of the violins playing behind me in San Marco Square.

In this moment, I felt Graceful dscf4154Wearing: Michael Kors jumpsuit, Michael Kors purse, Aldo booties, pink umbrella from vendor in Venice and white scarf from New York City street vendor.

Venice is a city like no other. It was always a dream of mine to visit and now I can check it off my bucket list. Sooner or later, I’ll surely be back! Although it was a cloudy and rainy day, I would describe Venice as being lovely, beautiful, romantic and magical in a unique way. Every angle, every corner is simply picturesque.

Also, as far as I can remember, I always liked to accessorize my outfit with a scarf. Especially after high school, when I could wear what I want, I rarely left the house without a scarf around my neck. Maybe it’s because I live in Canada and I do what I can to not feel the cold. Even during the summer months, I sometimes wear a scarf… but the summery ones. I also like it as a shawl. As I get older I find new ways to style my outfit. To me, wearing the scarf around my head in Italy can be both fashionable and elegant.

So there you have it, Venice elegance by the water.

Until next time,

  3. I was there last year and one of the things I remember was sitting outside in the square at nighttime at the Cafe Florian listening to the music. I think they claim to be the oldest coffee shop in Europe.

  4. Been to Venice half a year ago, and I don’t seem to be able to stop blogging about it. 🙂 Both the beauty of the town and the buildings – so photogenic! – and its history, absolutely fascinating. Definitely wanting to go back there!
